We collect information provided directly by client representatives, including:
- Contact & Authentication Data: Name, work email address, company name, phone number, and Google OAuth profile details when you sign in.
- Operational Climate Data: Electricity bills, gas meter readings, fuel invoices, facility coordinates, and disclosures submitted for EcoAudit processing.
- Technical Telemetry: Anonymized IP hash, browser user agent, referral source, and page visit timestamps for security and daily traffic metrics.
2. How We Use and Store Your Data
Client data is used strictly to compile carbon accounting figures, prepare Veritas Credibility Passports, and facilitate advisor review sessions. We do not sell, license, or share proprietary client data with third parties.
All ingested documents and account records are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Staff and advisors operate under legally binding confidentiality agreements.
3. Cookie Policy & Tracking Telemetry
We use cookies and browser storage technologies to maintain platform functionality:
Required to keep you signed in securely via session cookies (session). Expires when you log out or after 30 days.
Used to measure daily visit counts and traffic volume. We do not store raw personal IP addresses; all network traces are hashed and anonymized.
4. Your Rights & Data Deletion Requests
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to access, rectify, or request permanent deletion of all raw uploaded documents and account records.
